We know where the fish are

GENERAL INFORMATION

How do I get my catch home?

Your fish will be cleaned and brought back to the office where we can vacuum pack and freeze your fish in the size package you request. The cost to vacuum pack and freeze is $.90 cents per pound. The weight is based on cleaned fish not the whole fish weight. We can also ship Fed Ex if you choose to go that route. We suggest taking your fish with you as baggage on the plane, so when packing keep this in mind. Even if you take the fish as excess baggage it is cheaper than shipping Fed Ex. Fish boxes of all sizes are available to get your fish home whether you choose to ship or take it with you. Box prices range from $7 - $29.

What else can we do in the area?

There are lots of things that you can do to enjoy your free time. In Anchor Point you can visit the Norman Lowell Art Studio and Gardens. Take a ride 16 miles south to Homer and visit the Pratt Museum and tour the 100 year old Russian Orthodox Churches. Take a tour through the Alaska Berry Company and sample wild berry jams and jellies, homemade Alaska fudge, etc. Homer has a large selection of gift shops, craft stores and restaurants awaiting your discovery.

Soldotna and Kenai are about an hour drive north where you have a wide variety of restaurants and shops. There is a Fred Meyer store in Soldotna as well as several grocery stores. Soldotna and Kenai are also home to the world famous Kenai River. Stop and do some bank fishing.

If the tides are right you could drive to Ninilchik or Clam Gulch for clamming. The best clamming tides are low minus tides. Alaska is alive with bird refuges, fields of wild flowers and wild animals to photograph. There are miles and miles of beach combing, eagle watching, or hiking up river banks. Every where you travel, have a camera ready.
